Coil Development

Custom transmit/receive RF coils can be designed and fabricated for specialized projects when the standard human head coils are not appropriate. On-going research and development has recently produced a liquid nitrogen cooled phased array coil and a phased array coil for monkey brain imaging. Questions concerning coil development should be directed to Professor Edmund Kwok.
