| info | I am an IT specialist with a background primarily in Internet services, advanced desktop and server support and Information Security. I am responsible for the day-to-day operation of all IT-related systems at the RCBI which are based primarily on Mac and Linux. We also have some Windows desktop systems. My main interests are computers and networking, new technology and open source software. Mac is my preferred platform because of their simplicity in end-user systems, security and stability while still engaging the core Unix tools and philosophy. |
