infoMy Ph.D. project focuses on optimization of DTI technique for clinical applications:
  1. How DTI scan settings affect the measurement accuracy and precision of tissue diffusive characteristics associated with pathological changes.
  2. Achieve better understanding the physiological or pathological meanings of currently derived diffusive indices by studying two typical diseases, Alzheimer's Disease (AD) and Mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI), which have different pathologies on white matter.

What has been done:

  • Software package for DTI data processing and analysis
  • Pilot DTI studies on mTBI and AD

To do:

  • To answer question: what is the better way to achieve voxel-based analysis on DTI data
  • Longitudinal DTI study on mTBI patients
